| The Pridelands |
| Pride Rock
This is where all the lions of pride rock live. It is a large, kopje-like boulder. A tall tower of stone stretches toward the sky, and a path leads up halfway, where there is a precipice on one side and a cave entrance on the other.

| The Savannah
This is the vast land in which all the light touches. It is a grassland with tall grasses, great for grazing--attracting prey of all kinds. The grasses also aid the lionesses in hunting while they stalk. An excellent place to hunt by day and watch the stars by night.

| Watering Hole
This is the pond of water where all the animals of the pride lands drink. It is semi-circular, and the banks are covered in lush grass. It holds water in all seasons, but like most watering holes of the savannah, it has more water in the Rainy Season.

| Antelope Canyon
A canyon where the antelope herd is. Test your luck at hunting them, for the canyon is narrow. The antelope and wildebeest graze on the plateu above the gully. Sometimes, the herds will stampede into the canyon below, which can be dangerous for any lions. The legends say that it is here where the ancient king Mufasa died.

| Baobab
The Baobab is one of the few trees that grow on the savannah grasslands. It is large, round, and tall, almost impossible to climb. If you do manage to climb the smooth bark, you can see the inside hollowed out. Paintings made of various dyes dot the bark inside, paintings of the land, the trees, the sun, but mostly paintings of lions. Some are older than the ancient history the elders tell of. Legends tell that Rafiki, a wise mandrill shaman, used to dwell here.

| Magugu Pride |
| Fallen Tree Den
Several hundred years ago, a great storm knocked a giant tree down. The interior of the tree has rotted away, but the outside remains strong. The rotted out interior forms a nice area for a few lions to lie down in, and this is where the king, queen, and their cubs sleep. The tree fell in front of a hill, and the hill has been dug out to form a den connected to the tree where the other lions in the pride sleep. The entrance is a small tunnel where the entrance of the den isn't blocked by the fallen tree.

| Tropical Jungle
A dense jungle where a lot of prey live, the Tropical Jungle is where the Magugu Pride hunts the most. A river cuts through the forest, and falls of a cliff to form a romantic waterfall, where young lion couples come to be alone.

| Crystal River
The waterfall in the tropical rainforest feeds this river, which runs through the lands of the Magugu Pride. It is slow, safe for cubs, and allowing the sun to make it glisten.

| Grassland
This portion of savannah covers rolling hills; the jungle is not to far off. Prey is plentiful here, especially all kinds of gazelle and antelope, for the land is covered in sweet grass.

| Lake of the Vision
The legends tell that this lake, isolated from the river, is where Simba saw the vision of his father years ago. It is almost circular, and has it's place on the far edge of the territory, on the other side of the forest. Brushes and reeds hide it from view until you are almost in it. The elders warn against drinking from the water; they say it is sacred.

| Jabali Pride |
| Cliff Cave
While most sides of the mountain slope gently downwards, one side is a sheer cliff. Over several years, erosion has weared away the soft rock of part of the cliff, forming a cozy cave for pride members to rest in.

| Mountain Path
Where the mountains slope the gentlest, the brush has been worn down by many years of animals coming to and fro. Prey animals, such as the sure-footed gazelle and the elswhere uncommon rabbit, still use the path. It is a great place for hunting, and about the only place where the steep, rocky sides are safe to scale. You can try stepping off the wide path, but the terrain beyond is forbidding and dangerous...

| Hidden Lake
The tall, course grass that surrounds the mountain conceals many things. One of these things is the lake. Safe from view until you are almost in it's waters, the lake is a safe haven to get a drink -for both predator and prey.

| Brushland
Around the base of the mountain, the fertile earth is home to thousands of plants. From the towering acacia to thorny grasses, this is the easiest place to hide and the hardest to find a path through. No use hunting hear; it is nearly impossible to stalk with all the foliage underfoot and bushes brushing against your side. Prey animals would easily escape before you come close.

| Land of White
Follow the mountain path, and you eventually come to the Land of White. It is cold here, to cold for life. The land, they say, is covered in a glistening white powder; the name snow was passed down from the eldes as it's name. On cloudy days, it is trapped in a world of white-ness, but on a sunny day you can see forever.

| Neutral Areas |
| Great Desert
The desert that seperates the thre prides from each other, this land is harsh and unforgiving. No plants, not even cacti, hold the loose sand down, and the wind shapes it into drifts that are never the same. It is easy to get lost, but the pride members must cross it to get to the other prides. Needless to say, travel between prides is rare.

| Outlands
This is a harsh area south of the Pridelands. A crocadile-infested river forms the border at one point, and it is the only source of water known to these forgotten lands. No pride lives here; there would not be enough prey to sustain them. Rogues hunt for themselves here, if they can find the food.

| Upendi
A small patch of tropical rainforest near the Pridelands, this is a place teeming with life. Lush vegetation and plenty a peacefull pond make this a wonderfull place for young lion couples to be alone. Prey animals are many here, but every lion that comes here has been too distracted by the beauty to hunt.

| Bitter Water
If you travel far enough to the east of the Magugu Pride, you will find the largest shore known to any of the prides. It is long, and stretches as far as the eye can see on either side, covered with fine sand. More spectacular is the water that beats in waves against the shore. It to goes as far as the eye can see, and some say that it touches the sky, and that the Kings of the Past use it as a route to their place in the stars.
The waves are often small, but in storms they can be huge. Foam rides at the tops of them. The water is shallow and gets gradually deeper, but by the time a lion is halfway in, the undercurrent is strong enough to sweep you off your paws and away to the depths forever. The most spectacular thing about this water, however, is it's taste: bitter and strong, like salt.

| Sageland
North-east of the Jabali Pride's territory is the Sageland, an area that seems to have forgotten whether it is desert or savannah. Underfoot, the ground is course and grainy as sand, but various bushes, like the beautiful spinosa flowers or the poisonous nightshade berries, hold the earth firmly together. Water is scarce but not unheard of, and occasionally a tall tree jumps up and reaches to the skies above.
